This role is for a Food Service Worker, a crucial position within TMH’s supportive services that ensure patients receive timely, nutritious meals essential for their health and recovery. The Food Service Worker performs a variety of dietary functions including the daily meal service within the hospital environment. Responsibilities consist of delivering food carts and outpatient trays to patient units, managing unit floor supplies, removing boxes and trash, and maintaining cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors. The role also includes cleaning pots and pans and performing other general sanitation duties to uphold the highest standards of hygiene in the food service area. This position reports directly to the Food Service Manager and does not include supervisory responsibilities. Candidates will ideally possess at least one year of food service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, and a high school diploma or GED certificate is preferred.
