Working on-site in Plano, this position offers shifts from Monday to Friday, either 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating weekends, providing a structured but dynamic work schedule. As a Cook I, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of food items for various service operations, including room service, cafeteria, physician’s dining, and catering, all contributing to a positive patient and staff experience. Your duties will involve following established recipes, preparing ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, and meats, and assisting the more senior Cook II with special menu items and VIP requests. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with less than one year of food service experience who are eager to develop culinary skills in a healthcare setting. Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, operating kitchen equipment safely, and ensuring food quality meet the organization’s standards for freshness, taste, and appearance are key responsibilities.   • Obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current status thereafter
