FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME) - Full-time

We are currently hiring a full-time Food Service Worker to join our campus team at UMASS Dartmouth. This role offers a fixed pay rate of $16.25 per hour and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing a consistent and manageable workweek. The Food Service Worker will be instrumental in preparing, presenting, and serving food, adhering strictly to company quality standards and safety protocols. As a Food Service Worker, you will engage in a variety of food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Accuracy and adherence to food safety guidelines are paramount, including proper weighing, measuring ingredients, and storing food with attention to wrapping, dating, and rotation practices. The role also requires moving food items safely between work stations and maintaining cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment. Your responsibilities extend to managing supplies, ensuring portion control based on approved recipes, and following inventory and cash control procedures.
