The resort is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join its culinary team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the high culinary standards that Loews Coronado Bay Resort is known for. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and organizing food items in accordance with the resort's recipes and quality guidelines. Working closely with kitchen staff, the individual will ensure that ingredients are fresh and properly stored, dishes are plated attractively, and food sanitation standards are rigorously followed. - High school diploma or equivalent
- post secondary culinary training or certification
- minimum one year cooking experience in upscale high volume hotel or restaurant
- knowledge of food service sanitation standards
- understanding of standard kitchen equipment use
- physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- proficiency in English
- flexibility to work weekends and holidays
