The Food Service Manager position at Aramark is a dynamic management role responsible for overseeing dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu. This role requires a leader who can develop and implement innovative dining solutions that meet the diverse tastes and needs of customers. The manager will engage with the team using Aramark's coaching model to foster growth and maximize staff potential, rewarding and recognizing outstanding performance while ensuring that all team objectives align with client expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and leading team briefings, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and managing smooth operational flow to deliver excellent dining experiences. Additionally, the Food Service Manager plays a crucial role in client relationship management by identifying client needs and communicating progress effectively. Financial oversight is a key aspect, as the manager must maintain profitability by completing and managing profit & loss statements, achieving company financial targets, and educating the team on operational performance metrics, inventory trends, and margin improvement. The manager promotes operational excellence by focusing on productivity through effective cost controls, profit management, and adherence to food and labor initiatives. Ensuring compliance with safety, health, wage, and hour regulations is mandatory to preserve a safe environment for clients, customers, and employees alike. The role also involves leading the front of the house in dining operations such as cafeterias or residential dining facilities, in collaboration with the Food Service Director. The Food Service Manager plans, directs, and coordinates food service activities to ensure a high-quality finished product is delivered to customers consistently. The position requires flexibility and adaptability, as job duties may evolve to meet business needs.   • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments
  • Ability to perform occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb
