As a Food Service Cook at The Tulsa Zoo, you will report directly to the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef. This role involves preparing food to meet quick-service standards while maintaining outstanding quality, safety, and presentation. You will be instrumental in following the SSA EXTRA Guest Service standards to guarantee memorable dining experiences. The position requires support in both back-of-house (BOH) and frontline food service prep, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. The role demands adherence to safe food handling practices, sanitation, hygiene, and company policies, alongside participation in daily safety logs such as food temperature checks, waste monitoring, and inventory rotation. Flexibility and teamwork are crucial, as you will support various roles and respond promptly to guest feedback to maintain high satisfaction levels. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, and may also contribute to dishwashing duties.
