This position is hourly paid, starting at $17.10 per hour, and requires a dedicated professional who can provide fast, efficient, and friendly food and beverage service to senior residents. The food server is responsible for taking orders, delivering drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts promptly, and ensuring that dining areas are clean and properly set up with fresh linens, silverware, and china. The position also entails bussing tables and resetting them after meals, as well as completing daily side work and assisting with pantry, hostess, or expo duties as needed. Food servers at The Village must be knowledgeable about daily and weekly menus, able to describe food items enthusiastically, and ensure that all residents receive timely service to enhance their dining experience. A significant part of the role involves checking on residents frequently during their meals to confirm their satisfaction and promptly addressing any concerns.
