The role of a Backwaiter/Food Runner at Trap Rock Brewery requires a dynamic individual capable of managing a variety of duties in a fast-paced environment. As an essential member of the front-of-house team, the person in this role will collaborate closely with servers and bartenders to ensure smooth and efficient service from the kitchen to the guest's table. Responsibilities involve promptly refilling beverages, maintaining cleanliness by clearing and resetting tables, polishing glassware and silverware, and assisting throughout the dining room as needed. Food runners have additional duties that involve working closely with kitchen staff, organizing and delivering plates with precision, and maintaining mise en place to support the timing and flow of service. A seasoned backwaiter/food runner will be versatile and able to transition smoothly between roles, contributing significantly to the goal of exceeding guest expectations.
