Currently, Trap Rock Brewery is seeking experienced bussers and food runners, collectively referred to as backwaiters/runners, who are passionate about fine dining and eager to contribute to an exceptional guest experience. This role is integral to the restaurant's operation, requiring individuals who can work seamlessly alongside servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to maintain the flow and quality of service. Candidates should be adept at multitasking, attentive to detail, and have a strong understanding of fine dining standards and practices. The position demands an enthusiastic approach to tasks, reliability, and a dedication to exceeding guest expectations through professional, courteous service. The backwaiter/food runner role encompasses a range of responsibilities such as promptly refilling water glasses, clearing and resetting tables efficiently, polishing and managing glassware and silverware, and supporting both the front and back of house. Food runners specifically must work closely with the kitchen expo to monitor incoming orders, organize mise en place at stations, prepare food carts, and deliver plates to guests accurately and swiftly with minimal instruction. Supervisory or seasoned individuals in this role should be capable of switching effortlessly between bussing and running duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
