Wawa is seeking to hire a Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) who will play a critical role in supervising the daily food and beverage operations at one of the Wawa stores. This is a full-time, hourly position, with wages ranging from $23.40 to $31.55 per hour, depending on experience, role, and location. Those employed in this position are also eligible for monthly bonus incentives, enhancing the overall compensation package. As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure the seamless operation of the food service area. Your primary mission will revolve around executing food programs that include fresh food items, grab-and-go meals, beverages, catering, and other offerings that maintain Wawa’s brand standards of quality and consistency. The role requires a keen eye on sales performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. You will become the store's go-to expert for all food and beverage initiatives, promotional campaigns, and marketing activities.
Your responsibilities will extend to managing hiring, scheduling, and training of Customer Service Associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences every day. This involves delivering ongoing coaching and motivation to build a strong service culture. Maintaining health and safety standards is paramount in this role, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming food service environment for both customers and employees. The Food & Beverage Manager is also responsible for inventory control, ordering supplies, and equipment maintenance, ensuring that the food service area remains operationally effective and efficient.
