We are currently seeking a dedicated Host/Hostess to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for our guests and plays a significant part in establishing a welcoming and efficient dining experience. The Host/Hostess will greet guests upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable and attended to throughout their visit. Responsibilities extend beyond greeting guests to include managing the flow of diners, answering telephone calls, assisting with to-go orders, and supporting the dining room staff with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning menus and glasses. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced settings, demonstrates excellent multitasking skills, and enjoys working as part of a dynamic team. Shifts include mornings, days, evenings, and weekends, requiring flexibility and a positive attitude to meet the operational needs of the restaurant. The Host/Hostess acts as the face of the restaurant and is responsible for projecting an image of warmth and professionalism. Beyond interacting with guests, the role also involves maintaining accurate wait times, facilitating the smooth seating process, and ensuring that customers’ needs are promptly communicated to servers and managers. Handling to-go orders by verifying details, processing payments, and reconciling the cash drawer will also be part of the daily duties. • Must be able to clearly communicate guests' needs to servers, bussers, managers, etc.
