The Director of Food & Beverage at The Courtyard Hilton Head Island is a vital leadership role responsible for the overall management and success of the hotel's food and beverage operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this full-time salaried position starts at $70,000 annually and comes with comprehensive benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and a quarterly bonus plan. The role encompasses oversight of all onsite food and beverage outlets including the Bistro (serving breakfast and dinner), the rooftop bar, and catering services for meeting spaces. This position demands a dynamic leader who excels in managing day-to-day operations, recruiting, training, scheduling, inventory and ordering, menu planning, and ensuring operational profitability. Due to the hospitality industry's 24/7 nature, the Director of Food & Beverage must have a flexible schedule, working various shifts including first, second, mid-shifts, and weekends. The Director ensures compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and quality expectations while fostering a positive team culture and providing exceptional guest service. This role is critical to maintaining the hotel's reputation and driving incremental revenue through innovative food and beverage initiatives, effective marketing, and superior execution of dining and event experiences.
