The role of a Flight Instructor at FlightSafety International is vital in upholding the company’s standards of excellence in pilot training. This position involves delivering both ground and full-flight simulator instruction to pilots in accordance with applicable aviation regulations and FlightSafety’s training principles. Flight Instructors are responsible for conducting core, specialty, or enrichment training courses that support the development of highly skilled, knowledgeable, and safety-conscious aviation professionals. In addition to delivering training, the instructor will develop and prepare instructional materials tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring compliance with prescribed curricula. Accurately evaluating trainee progress and recommending qualifications or further training is another critical aspect of the role. Maintaining detailed training records and identifying client issues proactively ensures the success and satisfaction of trainees. The Flight Instructor must also maintain all required certifications and qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development.   • Must be able and willing to participate in FlightSafety’s DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program
  • Must hold an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or an ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License
  • If no ATP, must meet the requirements of 14 CFR part 61.153 and 14 CFR part 61.64 without a Supervised Operating Experience limitation
  • Must have a minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating
  • Preferred experience with FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121 or military training
  • Preferred minimum 2,500 hours of total flight time
