The Server role at Flanigan's is pivotal for ensuring customers have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. This position involves following safety and sanitation policies strictly, staying knowledgeable about the menu, including current food and drink promotions, and providing attentive service to guests. Responsibilities include accurately entering orders into the point-of-sale system, retrieving and delivering food and beverages, managing payment transactions, and assisting with side duties such as shift changes and table upkeep. Additionally, servers are expected to support their colleagues by maintaining table appearances, answering guest questions clearly and politely, and assisting with curbside pickup greeting and order verification.
This role demands physical stamina, as employees will be required to stand and walk throughout their entire shift and be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment are essential. Employees must complete and pass the Florida Responsible Vendor program and a food safety certification program to comply with state regulations and company standards.
