The role of Front Office Manager is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's front desk and overall guest services. As a Front Office Manager, you will have full responsibility for all aspects of the front desk operations, including coordination of front office activities, handling guest complaints, managing reservations, and room assignments. This position demands a highly motivated leader skilled at fostering a welcoming and efficient environment that supports both guests and staff. You will work closely with the General Manager to surpass guest satisfaction targets and collaborate with the corporate training team to cultivate ongoing staff development.
Key responsibilities include recruitment, training, and scheduling of front desk personnel, evaluating performance, and addressing any deficiencies through coaching or disciplinary measures. You will oversee daily operations to maximize revenue and minimize losses, monitor guest satisfaction closely, and ensure compliance with hotel policies including dress code and timely reporting to corporate headquarters. Expertise in property management systems and managing front office inventories is essential, along with regular coordination with night audit functions.
The position requires working variable shifts due to the hotel's 24/7 operation. This dynamic schedule demands flexibility and resilience to maintain consistent high standards in guest services. You will be expected to manage a diverse, customer-focused team by providing strong leadership and fostering an environment conducive to professional growth and excellence in service delivery. Acting as Manager on Duty on occasion, you will represent the hotel at the highest level with confidence and grace.

- A four-year college degree or equivalent education or experience
- Two to three years in a related hotel company position
- Hospitality industry knowledge and general hotel department supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to handle cash or credit transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Knowledge of general office equipment and cash register operation
