The role of Bartender / Mixologist at Hyatt Regency Indianapolis is a vital part of the guest experience, tasked with crafting a wide variety of beverages that range from classic cocktails to innovative mixology creations. This position is part-time, covering the evening shifts, with compensation provided as an hourly rate plus gratuity, reflecting the value placed on excellent service and skill. The successful candidate will be the creative force behind the bar, responsible not only for preparing and serving drinks but also for engaging with guests to provide expert recommendations and enhancing the overall ambiance of the venue. This role requires a keen understanding of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and an ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. In addition to drink preparation, the bartender will assist with maintaining bar supplies, managing inventory, processing cash and credit transactions, and upholding stringent health, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
