The role available is for a Full-Time Banquet Bartender, offering a rate of $27.95 per hour. As a banquet bartender, you will be responsible for all aspects of the bar area within the hotel's banquet services, including preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, managing stock, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. The position is essential in creating memorable events by providing friendly and efficient service, all while embodying the aloha spirit that the hotel cherishes. In this role, you will be expected to adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including Pacifica’s Pure Stay protocols, to ensure the well-being of guests and team members. You will manage the bar area by waiting on guests courteously, recommending beverages, mixing drinks accurately, and processing payments efficiently. The role also involves stocking and organizing bar supplies, maintaining bar equipment, and collaborating closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure seamless beverage service during events. A key part of the job is maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the bar area to promote a safe and inviting environment. Applicants must be at least 21 years old due to alcohol service requirements and have a minimum of one year bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant or hotel environment. Knowledge of Micros point-of-sale systems and proficiency in English or bilingual capabilities are preferred.
