The Hourly Shift Coordinator (HSC) at BURGER KING plays a critical leadership role within the restaurant, focusing on driving sales and profitability while ensuring outstanding guest service, effective team management, and smooth operational execution. The HSC supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Manager (AM) by managing the restaurant during assigned shifts, overseeing a team of employees to meet and exceed business objectives. Key responsibilities of the Hourly Shift Coordinator include monitoring and controlling cash procedures, maintaining inventory accuracy through regular inspections, and receiving incoming inventory orders. This position requires a minimum age of 18, with a high school diploma or GED as the basic educational requirement; however, two years of college education are preferred. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in a quick-service restaurant environment and demonstrate a clear understanding of guest service principles. Flexibility in scheduling is important, as the role involves working evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts to ensure continuous restaurant operations.
