This full-time position commands a competitive starting salary of $21.00 per hour with a shift from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am. As a Wok Cook, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food items consistent with established production standards, ensuring quality and uniformity of each order. The role demands proficiency in cooking Asian hot entrees, adhering to proper cooking techniques, times, and temperatures, while maintaining kitchen sanitation, handling and storing perishables correctly, and managing leftover food. This position requires excellent teamwork and communication skills as coordination with other kitchen staff and maintenance personnel is critical. The work environment may involve exposure to second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust, and the job requires the ability to stand for long periods. • Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in high volume food service operation/preparation is preferred (Asian cuisine preferred)
• Must have excellent customer service/communication skills
• Must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and/or entire shift
• Be able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
