We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Culinary Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. This critical leadership role involves overseeing the culinary operations to ensure the delivery of best-in-class dining experiences that complement Topgolf's entertainment offerings. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coaching the culinary team, driving associate engagement, and maintaining high standards in food quality and presentation. This role demands a strategic leader who can balance creativity with operational efficiency, including managing food and labor costs, ensuring safety and sanitation, and selecting or developing innovative recipes aligned with corporate standards.
The Culinary Manager will be instrumental in elevating the food offerings by planning and costing menus, including special event menus and chef's choice selections, while strictly adhering to budget constraints and cost of goods sold (COGS) targets. The role requires a hands-on approach to delegating tasks, monitoring inventory, purchasing products, and ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment. As a key figure in maintaining Topgolf's core values—Fun, One Team, Excellence, Edgy Spirit, and Caring—the Culinary Manager must embody these principles in all aspects of their work.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of culinary management experience and a proven ability to build and develop strong culinary teams. While a bachelor’s degree or related culinary degree is preferred, demonstrated operational leadership and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment are critical. Physical endurance is necessary, as the role requires standing, walking, and working in high-temperature kitchen conditions. Candidates must also be capable of lifting heavy items and performing tasks that involve stooping and bending.
