The Executive Sous Chef is a full-time exempt position that reports directly to the Executive Chef, responsible for the culinary operations that span multiple facilities and event types. This role is essential for the successful preparation, presentation, and delivery of food service at high-volume events. The Executive Sous Chef not only assists in developing inventive and diverse menus, capturing seasonal trends and client preferences, but also ensures consistency in food quality and safety. This position demands a skilled culinarian who thrives on flexibility, creativity, and innovation to meet the evolving needs of clients and patrons. Key responsibilities include training, mentoring, and leading the kitchen staff to achieve operational excellence with a keen emphasis on quality and compliance with health standards. The Executive Sous Chef must be adept at organizing kitchen workflows, supervising daily operations, managing inventories, and controlling costs.                 - Culinary certificate or the equivalent
 - Minimum of four years of increasingly responsible kitchen management experience
 - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
 - Ability to work in environments with wet floors, temperature extremes, and excessive noise
 - Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
 - Strong leadership and communication abilities
 - Proficiency in inventory management and kitchen software
 - Knowledge of health and safety regulations
 - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
