The Executive Chef role at Summit Place in Glassboro, NJ, offers an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced culinary professional in the senior living industry. The position is hourly, with a compensation rate of $24 per hour. This role entails full oversight of all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, sanitation, and staff management, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for residents. The Executive Chef is responsible not only for maintaining high food quality and safety standards but also for managing vendor relationships, inventory control, and budgeting within set targets. Collaboration with hospitality and leadership teams is essential to align dining services with overall community satisfaction and operational objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring creativity and hands-on leadership to the kitchen environment, actively participating in food preparation while guiding and developing the culinary team through effective training, scheduling, and mentorship. - Minimum of 5 years culinary leadership experience
- ServSafe or Food Safety Certification
