Resort Lifestyle Communities is a distinguished family-owned company with over twenty years of experience specializing in providing all-inclusive, independent, resort-style 55-and-over senior living retirement communities throughout the United States. Based out of Lincoln, Nebraska, Resort Lifestyle Communities is known for its rapid growth and commitment to creating vibrant living environments that combine comfort, luxury, and active lifestyles for seniors. The company prides itself on fostering a welcoming atmosphere where residents can enjoy high-quality amenities and exceptional service, making it a preferred choice for senior living. We are currently seeking an Executive Chef to join our team and uphold our promise of delivering a resort-style food and service experience. This pivotal role involves not only culinary expertise but also strong leadership and interpersonal skills to develop lasting relationships with residents and guests. As an Executive Chef at Resort Lifestyle Communities, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing diverse menus that cater to resident preferences and nutritional requirements, ensuring meals are as delightful as they are healthy. The role offers a balanced work schedule, with evening meals ending at 6:30 pm, eliminating late-night shifts and promoting a healthy work-life balance. Compensation is competitive, accompanied by generous benefits such as free meals during shifts, access to OnDemand Pay for financial flexibility, and a monthly stipend to apply toward various benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as disability and other protection plans. Additional perks include paid holidays, vacation time, and a 401(k) plan with an employer match, reflecting the company’s dedication to employee well-being and satisfaction. As the Executive Chef, your culinary creativity will shine as you craft rotating menus that respond to resident feedback, enabling you to showcase multiple cooking styles and ensure each dish is presented appealingly. Beyond culinary skills, this leadership role involves recruiting, selecting, scheduling, and training culinary and dining team members, fostering a motivated and efficient kitchen environment. Working closely with Community Managers, you will help shape a remarkable overall dining experience, making meal times memorable and enjoyable for every resident. This position requires a strong commitment to the company’s core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence. You will engage directly with residents, receiving instant feedback to refine and enhance the dining experience continuously. This unique opportunity is ideal for a culinary professional with a servant heart and passion for hospitality, eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while advancing their culinary leadership career in a supportive, family-oriented company.
