The Guest Services Associate at United Dairy Farmers is a part-time position that offers flexible schedules with shifts that may include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, totaling 25 hours or less per week. This includes greeting guests warmly, anticipating their needs, and providing quick, courteous assistance to ensure satisfaction. The employee manages the operation of the POS system and gas consoles accurately, handles all transactions including cash, credit, checks, and coupons, and maintains the presentation and stock levels of the store. The role also involves preparing DipSide items such as shakes, malts, ice cream cones, and sundaes according to company standards. Maintaining safety protocols and store cleanliness is a critical part of the job, including monitoring refrigeration temperatures, following loss prevention practices, and complying with tobacco, alcohol, and violence deterrence programs.
The Guest Services Associate must be able to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and freezers, cleaning counters, and tolerating exposure to various temperature conditions.  - Ability to understand operating instructions and operate all store equipment
 - Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies in dip cabinets
 - Ability to accurately handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons, and food stamps, and make correct change
 - Ability to recognize numbers, count, and perform arithmetic to complete required records
 - Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves, displays, freezers, and milk box and place for proper display
 - Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
 - Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 minutes and as high as 33 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes
 - Ability to lift at least 10 pounds from floor to a height of 5 feet
 - Ability to place a package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet 3 feet above the floor
