In this full-time exempt role, the Executive Chef 2 will lead culinary operations at McLean Hospital, overseeing a team of 14 culinarians. Reporting directly to the Food General Manager, this role encompasses managing all food service aspects, including inpatient menus, cafeteria retail, residential meals, and catering services. The role requires strategic menu planning, recipe adherence, food procurement, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations such as HAACP. The chef will work early morning and daytime hours Monday through Friday, with every other weekend shifts and flexibility to accommodate catering and business needs. An essential component of this role is fostering a positive, efficient kitchen environment that supports team development and motivation. The Executive Chef 2 will be responsible for maintaining Sodexo’s culinary standards, ensuring food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
