The Events Management Associate role is situated within the Amenity Services team, focusing on the creation and execution of events primarily for employees. The Associate will work closely with client center planners and various internal teams such as catering, technology, and operations to ensure events are delivered seamlessly. Key responsibilities include managing meeting spaces efficiently to optimize utilization, maintaining strict compliance with standard operating procedures, and participating in operations meetings that drive continuous improvement.
In addition to logistical coordination, the role involves a variety of client-facing duties such as conducting pre and post-conference calls, handling reception responsibilities, and elevating the overall client and guest experience through special projects and performance reviews. The position demands excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to manage guest expectations with tact and professionalism. It requires flexibility, given that shifts may vary to cover different conference center hours and locations.
Candidates for this role should have a robust background in the hospitality industry, particularly with high-touch customer service experience gained in 5-star hotels, event planning, or food and beverage sectors. Leadership competencies are crucial as the role involves managing and developing both local and remote teams through performance reviews and training needs identification. Additionally, proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and knowledge of catering services, audio-visual systems, and meeting planning processes are essential.
