Apartment Life is a community-focused organization dedicated to creating vibrant, connected living environments within apartment communities. Their mission centers on combining excellence in business with acts of genuine care and radical hospitality to foster meaningful relationships among residents and staff. By weaving faith and service into their approach, Apartment Life aims to impact communities positively and provide residents with a fulfilling living experience that goes beyond traditional apartment management. They partner with apartment communities across various locations, including Ellenton, Sarasota, and Bradenton, offering unique opportunities for coordinators to engage in ministry-driven event planning and resident support. The role of an Events and Ministry Coordinator at Apartment Life is a unique blend of event planning, community engagement, and ministry. Coordinators are responsible for creating and providing exceptional Apartment Life experiences through the planning and execution of social events, personal communication, and genuine care for the residents. This position requires individuals who are passionate about the vision and mission of Apartment Life and who can skillfully design irresistible events that foster connection and community within the apartment setting. While the role is unpaid, coordinators are compensated through reduced rent at the respective apartment communities, allowing them to live onsite or nearby as part of their service. Depending on the community, the expectations may vary slightly. For example, Ellenton requires coordinators to plan one event and develop a welcome strategy monthly, Sarasota coordinators must organize two events per month and be bilingual in Spanish, and Bradenton coordinators are tasked with two events per month as well. Coordinators also provide personal outreach by visiting new residents soon after they move in and supporting those approaching lease termination. Through these interactions and events, coordinators help residents connect not only with each other but also with wider community services and local businesses, enhancing the overall apartment living experience. In addition to event planning, coordinators are responsible for creating marketing materials such as calendars, flyers, and social media posts to promote activities effectively. They manage an event budget, prepare monthly summaries, and collaborate closely with staff and program directors for continuous development and support. The role involves engaging a support team comprising volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize the impact of their efforts. This position is ideal for mission-minded, highly relational, and responsible individuals who enjoy meeting new people, planning social activities, and expressing God's unconditional love through their work. The coordinator position offers a meaningful way to combine business acumen with ministry, making a lasting difference in the lives of apartment residents and the community at large.
