The Event Rigger role at Encore involves part-time, as-needed work performing comprehensive rigging activities supporting aerial and ground setups in hospitality and convention center environments. The successful candidate will uphold the highest safety and quality standards in accordance with all trade guidelines and Encore-specific Standard Operating Procedures. Reporting to the Lead Rigger or Rigging Coordinator, this position requires hands-on involvement in organizing tools, supporting motorized lifts and hoists, establishing secure rigging points, and inspecting all rigging connections to ensure stability and safety of event structures. The role demands strict adherence to safety protocols, especially regarding lift operations and working at height, providing essential support to other teams, and ensuring that all rigging activities contribute to a successful event setup. Candidates must be prepared to work in various hotel or convention locations, accommodating irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical fitness is crucial given the nature of the work involving lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. - 500+ hours of onsite rigging experience
