The Event Planning Manager role at Dreamscape is a pivotal position dedicated to ensuring the seamless execution and success of group events held at the hotel. This role acts as the crucial liaison between meeting planners and the hotel, handling all aspects of the event from initial contract review to the final billing and execution stages. The manager is responsible for understanding the sales agreement details, overseeing food, beverage, and audiovisual requirements, managing room blocks, and ensuring timely communication between all parties involved. As the onsite contract, the Event Planning Manager ensures every event runs smoothly, aligning with the highest standards of service and client satisfaction. The role does not currently hold supervisory responsibilities but plays a critical part in achieving the hotel's financial and operational goals, particularly the revenue from meetings and food and beverage services. Collaborating closely with the Director of Event Planning and Banquets, the Event Planning Manager helps advance Dreamscape's reputation as a leader in event hosting and customer service excellence. This position requires a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and can balance multiple tasks independently while maintaining strong organizational skills and professional communication.
                - Bachelor's degree preferred
 - Minimum two years of experience in hotel catering or convention services
 - Knowledge of sales and catering software such as Delphi or Envision
 - Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment preferred
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office
 - Ability to multitask and work independently
 - Excellent organizational skills
 - Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
 - Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
