This role is also responsible for event coordination, which includes planning, marketing, and facilitating workshops and events focused on student success and advising. The coordinator manages various aspects of event logistics, including venue bookings, participant registration, vendor communications, and compliance with safety protocols. Additionally, the coordinator supervises student assistants, providing training and oversight to ensure high-quality support for the center's activities. Communication coordination is another vital aspect of this role, encompassing the preparation and dissemination of newsletters, managing department websites, and handling outreach campaigns through email and social media platforms. The position also supports budget tracking and reconciliation across multiple accounts, working closely with the Dean's office to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to university policies.
