This role is for an Event Manager - Project Delivery Specialist within Deloitte's Customer team, which empowers organizations to deepen customer relationships through innovative strategies, advanced analytics, Generative AI, transformative technologies, and creative design. The Customer team focuses on improving customer experiences and driving sustained growth and value creation via customer and commercial strategies, digital products, marketing, commerce, sales, and service functions. The team is a vibrant mix of strategists, data scientists, creatives, designers, engineers, and architects that blend business strategy with technology and creativity to solve complex challenges affecting customers and businesses alike. This role operates within the Project Delivery Talent Model (PDM), designed for long-term, onsite or remote client service delivery, enabling candidates to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as consultants with limited travel requirements.
The Event Manager will be responsible for planning and managing events, coordinating logistics, partnering with agencies, and ensuring seamless event execution from concept through completion. The role involves overseeing project timelines, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, driving content development and communication efforts to effectively engage target audiences, and analyzing event and marketing data to generate actionable insights. The position offers a salary range estimated between $97,800 and $163,215, with eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Limited immigration sponsorship may be available, and the role requires an average travel commitment of 10 percent. Successful candidates will have a background in event planning, project management, logistics coordination, stakeholder communication, content development, and data analysis. They will have a bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
In this role, the Event Manager will manage all aspects of event coordination, including briefing materials creation and distribution, account-based marketing activities, regional and segment-specific marketing program execution, logistics, speaker scheduling, and customer engagement initiatives. Collaboration with direct marketing teams for campaign analysis and reporting is essential, as is regular communication with engagement managers, project teams, and diverse functional and technical groups. The position calls for independent and team leadership in client engagement workstreams focused on improving and transforming processes to implement best practices, enhance quality, and drive operational excellence.

- Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing Business or a related field or equivalent experience
- 4-8 years of experience in event planning and management project management logistics coordination stakeholder and agency partnership communication content development or data analysis report generation
- Minimum of 4 years proven track record in event planning project management and logistical coordination within a dynamic environment
- Minimum of 4 years experience with stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record of successful agency partnerships
- Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with content development and data analysis including the ability to generate and interpret actionable reports
- Ability to travel 10 percent on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries sectors you serve
