We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Event Manager to lead the planning, execution, and management of a diverse range of in-person and virtual events that target both internal teams and external customers and prospects. This role plays a critical part in driving growth and creating transformative, memorable experiences that reinforce Redaptive's brand presence and support sales and marketing objectives. The Event Manager will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, public relations, and product marketing teams, ensuring alignment of event strategies with business goals to maximize impact and measurable results.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in event coordination, vendor management, logistics planning, content creation, and promotion. They must be adept at developing compelling event content such as presentations, speaker decks, promotional videos, and social media campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. The role requires strong project management skills to juggle multiple events simultaneously, from trade shows, webinars, and sales kickoffs to internal events like all-hands meetings. Moreover, the Event Manager will oversee event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and manage relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality event delivery.
On event days, the manager will supervise setup and execution, troubleshoot issues proactively, and lead live presentations and product demos to ensure clear messaging and audience engagement. Post-event evaluation will also be crucial, gathering feedback, preparing detailed reports, analyzing performance metrics, and refining future event strategies.
Candidates must have 3-7 years of event management experience, preferably within sectors like energy, manufacturing, or real estate, paired with strong organizational and communication abilities. Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms, familiarity with virtual/hybrid event technologies, and a solid understanding of B2B buyer journeys and account-based marketing strategies are highly valued. The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related fields, with certifications like CMP or CSEP considered advantageous. This role requires flexibility for travel and work outside regular business hours to support event schedules.
