We are currently seeking an Event Services Manager to join our dedicated team. This role is vital to the hotel's operations, focusing on ensuring the seamless execution of events hosted at the property. The position is designed for candidates with at least six months of hotel experience, preferably in event coordination, guest services, or related fields. Flexibility is key, as the role requires availability during evenings and weekends to accommodate the dynamic scheduling demands of group events. The Event Services Manager will serve as a critical liaison between sales, hotel departments, and clients, maintaining constant communication to guarantee high quality service throughout all event phases—from pre-event planning to post-event wrap-up.
This is an hourly position with eligibility for bonuses, and the typical shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust hours based on event needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills to book and upsell group events effectively and have a sharp attention to detail to execute events flawlessly. Responsibilities include managing event documentation, coordinating with internal teams, supporting client relationships, and actively participating in client site inspections as part of the sales process. The role also involves coaching and guiding team members to enhance service delivery and conflict resolution to handle complaints and disputes professionally.
