This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic event environment. The position is temporary with a mandatory work period from Thursday, October 8, 2025, through Sunday, October 19, 2025, with potential opportunities for additional work based on demand. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate's prior experience.
The Event Staff Barback will play a critical role in maintaining the efficient operation of the bar area by ensuring that all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are fully stocked, paper goods are replenished, and the bar area remains clean and organized. This role ensures a seamless guest experience by keeping all necessary supplies ready for the bartenders and facilitating rapid service during these busy festivals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of the liquor room, beer coolers, and bars, including tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
In addition, the Barback must consistently monitor inventory levels and provide updated counts at the end of each shift to help manage stock and prevent shortages during peak hours. Compliance with all state, federal, and local liquor regulations is a must, ensuring responsible service of alcoholic beverages. The candidate must have knowledge of safety, emergency procedures, and accident prevention policies to maintain a safe working environment. This role also requires the Barback to assist with or carry out other tasks as directed by the Restaurant Manager, making flexibility and cooperation key attributes.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of exciting, large-scale community events and work within a supportive and established company. The job demands physical stamina as it includes standing for extended periods, frequently bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates with previous barback experience, valid TIPS or ServSafe certification, and strong guest service skills will find this opportunity particularly rewarding. Working during the vibrant atmosphere of Triketoberfest and Biketoberfest provides a chance to contribute to memorable event experiences while advancing one’s career within the Ed Morse Automotive Group ecosystem.
