With an annual salary ranging from $96,646.12 to $117,473.98, the role involves overseeing environmental services across multiple complex hospital and healthcare environments including Operating Rooms, Post Anesthesia Care, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health units, Diagnostic Imaging, Critical Care, Pharmacy, Patient Rooms, and other scheduled areas within Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and various Community-Based Health Centers throughout the county.
This manager is expected to demonstrate flexibility to adjust quickly during periods of last-minute requests and operational needs, maintaining a strong focus on meeting program goals while executing leadership directives effectively. As a leader, managing a diverse team efficiently is paramount, as is maintaining high ethical standards and integrity while delivering reliable, cost-effective, high-quality results. - Possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency or a high school proficiency certificate
- Five years of experience in the environmental services division of a hospital, rehabilitation center, military or similar institution
- Two years of supervisory experience in environmental services
- Ability to adjust quickly during periods of last-minute requests and operational needs
- Ability to manage program goals and execute leadership directives
- Demonstrate high ethics, integrity, and credibility
- Hold self and others accountable for timely, cost-effective results
- Ability to analyze and prioritize varying situations during work
- Successful completion of 60 semester or 90-quarter units or CHESP certification can substitute for one year of experience
