The role of Events Manager at Elwyn is a pivotal administrative position that supports the planning, execution, and management of all fundraising and stewardship events. Reporting directly to the Director of Special Events, the Events Manager plays an essential role in coordinating the organization's marquee events such as Elwyn's annual gala fundraiser, the Elwyn Ball, and other vital fundraising initiatives including the upcoming Capital Campaign. This role involves hands-on involvement in event logistics, vendor coordination, donor relationship management, and data oversight through the DonorPerfect CRM.
The Events Manager’s responsibilities are diverse and integral to the success of Elwyn’s fundraising efforts. Key duties include providing administrative support across multiple events, managing event attendee data, coordinating contracts and payments with vendors, processing in-kind donations, and assisting with peer-to-peer fundraising platforms such as Qgiv. The position requires strong organizational skills to handle various logistical components and effective communication to collaborate with volunteers, donors, and staff members. Additionally, the Events Manager supports donor stewardship efforts to ensure that contributors receive proper acknowledgment and maintain engagement.
