Alila Marea Beach Resort is currently seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to assist in managing a single, full-service food and beverage outlet daily and to coordinate special events. This role involves responsibilities in staffing, scheduling, and training of the team members to ensure smooth operation of the outlet. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. In this role, the Food and Beverage Manager will play a pivotal part in ensuring the operational success of the restaurant. The position offers a competitive salary of approximately $75,000 annually, with exact compensation based on experience and education. Along with managing daily restaurant operations, the position also entails understanding food and beverage products, including liquor, wine, and beer, and incorporating this knowledge into staff training and event coordination. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior food and beverage management experience
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office and POS
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Physically able to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting
