This opening is for a Professional Civil Engineer with a focus on stormwater to join Carollo’s dynamic and collaborative team. The role involves working on a diverse range of municipal water and wastewater projects including treatment plants, distribution and collection systems, and pumping facilities. You will engage in projects ranging from master planning and asset management to condition assessments, infrastructure improvements, water quality studies, treatment plant rehabilitation and expansions, and essential water reuse projects. These projects aim to build sustainable water supplies and safeguard water quality. In this position, you will perform civil engineering work specifically related to water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance infrastructure. This includes site design elements such as site layout, yard piping, roadways, paving, grading, and stormwater infrastructure. You will conduct engineering planning and design tasks, which encompass conceptual and preliminary design activities, site visits, fieldwork oversight, alternatives analyses, and report preparations. Your responsibilities also include developing engineering plans and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and creating technical memoranda and electronic deliverables. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate sub-consultants and collaborate with other engineers, designers, modelers, and technicians to ensure project success. The position involves reviewing contractor submittals for compliance with project plans and specifications and evaluating requests for information during construction. Field activities such as pilot testing and site reconnaissance will be part of your routine tasks. You will also assist project managers with permitting submittals and work closely with governmental agencies to secure necessary approvals. • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
• 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
• Registration as a Professional Engineer
