The role of a bartender at McMenamins is integral to delivering the overall guest experience. This hourly, non-exempt position offers a wage starting at $16.66 per hour plus tips and reports directly to the manager. The bartender at McMenamins is responsible for a variety of tasks that span the entire operation of the bar from opening to closing. Beyond simply mixing and serving drinks, a bartender here engages in serving food, operating cash registers or POS systems, bussing tables, restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and completing end-of-shift documentation. The work environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring mental agility and multitasking skills. Bartenders are expected to maintain strong customer relations by providing attentive, friendly service while following established recipes and safety protocols.

                - Obtain and maintain current food handlers and OLCC/WA liquor license
 - Previous bartending experience preferred
