The role of Director of Operations at Concord Hospitality is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of property operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Operations collaborates closely to implement strategies that elevate guest satisfaction, optimize employee engagement, enhance financial performance, and uphold service excellence across all departments. This full-time leadership role demands a dynamic and hands-on approach, with a focus on multi-departmental management including front desk, food and beverage, banquet services, and more.
The Director of Operations ensures strict compliance with brand standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency. A key component of the role is managing compliance with licensing, permits, OSHA regulations, MSDS standards, and corporate accounting procedures to guarantee safe and smooth daily operations. Additionally, the Director supports recruitment, training, onboarding, and adequate staffing levels to maintain a motivated and highly productive workforce.
Driving quality service in the bar, restaurant, and banquet areas is a core duty, as is monitoring guest satisfaction metrics and devising actionable strategies to enhance the overall guest experience. Leadership responsibilities extend to coaching and counseling department managers and supervisors, fostering a cohesive and motivated team that embodies Concord’s "Associate First" philosophy. The Director of Operations also manages inventory control and supply availability, ensuring seamless operational flow.
