This role focuses on ensuring a sanitized, safe, and visually appealing facility by executing general housekeeping duties within the hospital and associated buildings. The Housekeeper will follow department-specific cleaning procedures and comply with rigorous hospital and Joint Commission standards. The position requires expertise in using cleaning chemicals properly, managing infectious waste, and handling emergency spill cleanups according to safety protocols including OSHA guidelines. Maintaining infection prevention through correct cleaning, disinfection protocols, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is a critical aspect of the role. This part-time to full-time position offers a shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm on Friday through Monday, totaling 32 hours per week, and includes full-time benefits. The hourly wage ranges from $17.25 to $22.43, contingent on experience. 
The position demands strong communication abilities, comprehension of color-coded cleaning labels, independent work ethic, and strict adherence to safety practices. Physically, the role involves handling equipment and supplies, lifting varied weights, and performing tasks that require manual dexterity allowing for precise and careful handling of cleaning instruments and materials.
