The role of Warehouse Associate at RNDC in Phoenix, AZ, is vital to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations. This position involves supporting the timely receipt, proper storage, order fulfillment, and maintenance of inventory across the warehouse. As a Warehouse Associate, you will engage in activities including safely and accurately unloading products, verifying shipment details, and staging goods for efficient put-away. You will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, utilizing a variety of systems and tools such as label picking, ring scanners, and voice-directed picking technology to ensure orders are filled correctly and promptly for next-day delivery. This role requires adherence to productivity and accuracy standards as tracked through labor management metrics. Additionally, operating material handling equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and reach trucks is essential to this role, requiring certification and safe handling practices. You will also leverage warehouse management systems and scan guns to maintain accurate inventory records and support physical inventory counts and cycle counting activities. Interaction and coordination with fellow associates, delivery personnel, and receiving teams are key components of the position, facilitating a smooth hand-off between shifts and ensuring operational continuity. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- preferably one year warehouse experience
- ability to obtain certification and safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachment, and/or clamper truck or attachment
- physical capability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
