As a Dishwasher/Porter, the employee is responsible for managing the washing and sanitizing of all kitchenware, utensils, and dishes, as well as maintaining the overall sanitation of food storage and preparation areas. This role involves close collaboration with the culinary team and learning to support front-of-house operations by replenishing dishes as needed to facilitate seamless service. The position demands a hands-on approach to daily tasks such as trash removal, cleaning floors, coolers, freezers, and stock areas, alongside clear communication with the Culinary Manager to address supply and equipment needs. The ideal candidate will be physically able to meet the demands of standing for extended periods and handling weight regularly, able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, and possess a Food Handler Certification demonstrating basic food safety knowledge.
