This position is located at Fort Campbell's Community Activity Center, a vibrant hub serving the recreational and social needs of the military community and their families. The Community Activity Center offers a variety of programs and services designed to enhance the quality of life for active duty personnel, their families, and other authorized patrons. Operating under the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) program, the center provides opportunities for engagement, relaxation, and socialization within the military community. Although this position is designated as "Flexible" with work hours ranging from 0 to 40 hours per week, it does not include eligibility for participation in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans at this time.
The role primarily involves service-related duties within the Community Activity Center, where delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a pleasant environment for patrons are of utmost importance. The position requires the individual to engage professionally with customers, ensuring that their needs are met efficiently and courteously. The candidate will be expected to manage tasks such as computing patron bills, handling cash and credit transactions, and effectively communicating with patrons in English. Basic math skills and the ability to make accurate change are essential components of the job. Additionally, understanding age restrictions related to the service of alcoholic beverages is necessary, as the role involves compliance with local and state regulations.
