The role of Dishwasher within New Leaf Community Markets’ Kitchen Department is critical to maintaining the operational efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen environment. The Dishwasher reports directly to the Kitchen Manager or Prepared Foods Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment are kept clean and orderly. This role is classified as non-exempt and operates on a set schedule from Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The primary duties involve washing dishes by hand or mechanical means, cleaning pots, pans, trays, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing worktables and equipment, and managing waste disposal. The Kitchen Dishwasher is vital to maintaining health and safety standards within the kitchen, creating a sanitary environment that supports the preparation and service of high-quality food.
No prior experience or training is required to enter this role, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start working in a team-oriented kitchen environment.
