The Group Sales Manager position at Tenaya Lodge focuses on Association, Government, and Corporate Business meetings. This role is designed for a sales-driven, goal-oriented professional who will handle account management to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and meet or exceed revenue goals in rooms, food, beverage, and ancillary services. While the role is primarily remote, candidates should reside within a short driving distance from Tenaya Lodge, including locations such as Fresno, Sacramento, and the Bay Area. Occasional on-site presence is required to support relationship building and client entertainment. The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for soliciting new group sales accounts, maintaining strong relationships with current clients, and developing creative sales strategies to grow the business. This role requires collaboration with multiple departments such as Revenue Management, Hotel Operations, and Food and Beverage partners to ensure optimal performance and customer experience. The ideal candidate will be an outside-the-box thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for representing Tenaya Lodge and Delaware North with professionalism and enthusiasm. In return for your expertise and dedication, Delaware North offers a competitive salary range of $68,640 to $73,700 annually, combined with an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. • Must be sales-driven and goal-oriented
• Minimum of three years of past sales experience preferred
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Delphi.fdc preferred
• Ability to develop and execute action plans
• Willingness to travel locally
• Ability to work remotely with occasional on-site presence
• Residency within a short driving distance to Tenaya Lodge, such as Fresno, Sacramento, or the Bay Area
