The role of Dishwasher at Eastcastle Place is a vital part of the Hospitality department, tasked with maintaining cleanliness and safety in the food service environment. This part-time, non-exempt position offers $15 per hour and involves working 20 hours per week, including weekday evenings and every other weekend. The schedule includes shifts from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm during the week and extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced culinary environments, possess a positive attitude, and pay meticulous attention to detail. As a Dishwasher, you will be pivotal in supporting the culinary team and ensuring the dining experience is seamless for residents and guests. Your responsibilities will include prompt removal of used dishes and utensils, thorough cleaning and sanitization of tables and chairs, and resetting tables in preparation for the next guests. You will also assist with maintaining dining areas' cleanliness, refilling supplies, and supporting waitstaff by running food and assisting with tray carrying. The position demands excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, the ability to multitask, and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Working closely with other team members such as Bussers, Cooks, and Servers, and reporting to the Executive Chef and Director of Hospitality, you will be an integral contributor to the overall hospitality experience at Eastcastle Place.
