The Westin Denver Downtown is currently seeking part-time Utility Cleaners to join their food and beverage and culinary team. This non-management position offers an hourly wage of $22.00 and does not provide remote work options. Utility Cleaners play a vital role in supporting several key functions across the hotel, including kitchen operations, food and beverage service, and laundry support. These associates take on responsibilities such as preparing fresh linens, ensuring spotless dining ware, maintaining and operating cleaning machinery such as dishwashing machines and linen washers, and transporting dishware and linens throughout the property. This role is essential to maintaining the high quality and safety standards that Westin and Marriott International are known for.
Success in this position requires adherence to company policies and procedures while upholding quality standards. Utility Cleaners are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times and to foster positive working relationships with fellow employees and departments. A significant part of the role involves physical activity, including moving and lifting objects up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and performing physical movements like bending, twisting, and stooping. Utility Cleaners must consistently support the team’s efforts to meet operational goals and effectively communicate in response to concerns or instructions. Reporting unsafe conditions or incidents promptly to management is also crucial to ensure workplace safety.
