We are currently seeking a dedicated Dish Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our dish room, ensuring all dishes, trays, eating and cooking utensils, cups, and small equipment are washed and stored correctly. The Dish Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, cleaning, and breaking down the dish machine while adhering to health, safety, sanitation, and security standards of the restaurant. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, the ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that the dish room remains organized and sanitized throughout the shift. The position requires a physically active individual who can stand for extended periods, lift and carry dish racks weighing up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, stooping, and cleaning. The work environment includes exposure to wet floors, temperature extremes, loud noise, and cleaning chemicals common to kitchen and dishwashing areas. Our Dish Machine Operator must also maintain a neat personal appearance, wearing a clean uniform and following the employee dress code.
