Chang's is currently hiring full-time and part-time Dishwashers, with hourly pay rates ranging from $15.50 to $18.50 per hour based on experience. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards vital to the smooth operation of the restaurant and the safety of all staff and guests. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for operating industrial dishwashing equipment, sanitizing dishware, utensils, and cooking equipment, and keeping the dish room and kitchen work areas organized and clean. This position requires attention to detail, an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to upholding the highest hygiene standards. The Dishwasher supports the kitchen team by assisting with cleaning duties and occasionally aiding in food prep during busy periods. • Must be at least 18 years old
• excellent customer service skills and etiquette
• possess a current Food Handler's Card, where applicable
• must be able to communicate effectively with team members
• learn about all chemicals used in the building and ability to learn to use them properly
• ability to work around various levels of temperature, including warm to very warm temperatures in the kitchen
